About Vivi & Bette
Vivi and Bette came to fruition one fall evening when I was rummaging through my drawers and drawers of fashion jewelry. During this specific quest to find the perfect pair of earrings to accent my favorite red dress, I came across a treasured lariat. Its black beads danced as I placed it around my neck and I immediately thought of my fashion-forward Grandma Vivian. The lariat had been hers years ago and was passed on to my mother and then to me and would one day be passed along to my daughter (so on and so forth). The dancing lariat was a timeless piece, one more suited for my Grandma Bette (I envisioned her with small drop earrings and white gloves, okay sans the white gloves).
It was at that very moment, whilst minutes from being late to paint the town red (in my already red dress), I was inspired to start my own jewelry line. I'd take the funky, bold and colorful taste of my Grandma Vivian and fuse it with the classic, subtle and clean taste of my Grandma Bette...
Three months later, Vivi and Bette was born.
Inspired by two fabulously fantastic women, all jewelry is handmade and from the heart. Thanks for your support!
